Hi there!

Today I felt like leaving my comfort zone, which is usually painting of environments.
After watching the last tutorial from Dianae I really had the urge to do a character painting on my own. Here's the link to her da site: dianae.deviantart.com

I've spent about 6 hours on it and thought at the beginning it would be a small 1024x1024 portrait.
As I progressed I had some fun with it and went finally for a 3.5K painting.

The image was entirely painted in Photoshop CS2 (yes, ... I'm still on it) and the original size measures 3565 x 2148.

really good work, but her left eye doesn't look right. there's something about those strong reflections which keeps it from matching the other one
